Day Three At Goodspeed

cticut_River_At_GoodspeedWell folks, as the song goes, “The weather outside is frightful…”, but here indoors at Goodspeed Opera, it could not be more wonderful.  Victor and I are ensconced in one of the new accommodation houses at Goodspeed – and it’s fabulous; talk about an environment conducive to creative endeavours!  I may never want to leave – except that I miss my wife!

There are just such fabulously talented writers  here in residence at the inaugural Johnny Mercer Writer’s Colony at Goodspeed, including the Tony Award-winning team of Hollmann & Kotis (Urinetown – The Musical), Sam Willmott (winner of the 2012 Fred Ebb Award) and that’s just the start of the incredible line-up of talent currently in residence. The Mapmaker’s Opera Selected for Goodspeed/Johnny Mercer Writer’s Colony

Goodspeed_Opera_HouseWe are delighted to announce to all MMO aficionados that our project has been selected for the inaugural Goodspeed Opera / Johnny Mercer Foundation Writer’s Colony in January/Feburary 2013.
