The workshop
We work from a converted mill floor on the Wirral. Visitors are welcome by appointment — it is the only way to feel the difference between a solid rail and a wrapped one, and to handle chips at 10, 11.5 and 14 grams before choosing. Allow an hour; bring your room dimensions.

What happens to your enquiry
Your message goes to a shared inbox monitored by the commissions desk during bench hours. It is read by a maker, not a script. We aim to reply within one working day with either an answer, an indicative price and lead time, or a request for the two or three details we still need.
We keep enquiries that do not turn into orders for 24 months from your last contact, then delete them automatically — commissions frequently revive a season later, and we would rather still have your drawings when they do. We never sell or share your details, and we only add you to our occasional mailing list if you ask us to. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
Sending an enquiry does not create a contract or reserve a bench slot. A contract is formed only when we issue a written order confirmation, as set out in our Terms and Conditions.
